Americas Advertising Law Year in Review
Over the last year, there were significant legislative, litigation, and regulatory (and self-regulatory) developments related to advertising law. In addition, with the world turned upside down because of the COVID-19 pandemic, regulators and self-regulatory bodies also shifted focus to address a wide range of advertising issues posed by the pandemic. Members of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance will provide an overview of some of the key developments in advertising law in the Americas region over the last year including: responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, diversity and inclusion, social media and influencers, environmental marketing, enforcement priorities and more.
