Franco is an Associate in the IP, Privacy, New Technologies, and Legal Advertising Department of Bruchou & Funes de Rioja, a leading multidisciplinary Law Firm in Argentina. Previously, he worked at Barreiro Oliva De Luca Jaca & Nicastro, an Argentine boutique Law Firm.
Franco has extensive experience advising national and international clients on intellectual property, data privacy, technology and legal marketing matters. Franco provides comprehensive support in due diligence processes, offering guidance across all areas of intellectual property law. His expertise also includes drafting, negotiating, and reviewing sponsorship, promotional event, and talent agreements, among others. In addition, he advises clients in relation to the Argentinean regulations on electronic and digital signatures. Franco has been a speaker at seminars and conferences on the subject.
He regularly publishes a newsletter with IP news and is the author of articles on data protection. Franco has contributed to the drafting of a bill to reform the Argentina’s current legislation on personal data protection.
Franco holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (2017) and earned postgraduate degrees in the following programs: (i) Postgraduate Course of Data Privacy and Compliance at the University of Buenos Aires (2018); (ii) Annual Communications Law and Technology Program at the University of San Andres (2019); (iii) Postgraduate Course on Artificial Intelligence and Law at the University of Buenos Aires (2020); (iv) Marketing Legal Course at the Austral University (2021); (v) International Course on Data Protection at the University of San Andres (2022).
