She is the head of the Intellectual and Industrial Property Group. Her practice focuses on matters involving unfair competition, antitrust, advertising law and intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, copyright, information technology, licensing, and litigation related to these matters, as well as brand protection in general.
Important publications and rankings such as Chambers & Partners, Best Lawyers, World Trademark Review, Managing Intellectual Property and IAM have recognized Ariela for her outstanding work in the area of intellectual property.
A graduate of the University of Chile’s School of Law and a Master of Law from St. Thomas University, Florida, USA, she is currently President for the Americas of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), Chair of the Committee on Legislation and Regulation of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and a member of the same Committee of the American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). She is also an Ethic Judge at the Ethics Tribunal of Chilean Bar Association.
