Johan Løje is partner and heads up the litigation department. He is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court and has 25 years of experience dealing with trademark and design applications and lawsuits regarding these areas. Furthermore, he is also advising on and litigating in patent matters. Johan holds a LL.M. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and is a popular lecturer amongst others on Advanced IP and Marketing Law at the University of Copenhagen.
On several occasions Johan has been appointed intellectual property expert by the EU Commission and has in that capacity amongst others taught intellectual property rights to Chinese superior court judges and enforcement of good marketing practice to the Chinese AIC. Johan is counsel to the Danish Design Association, the Danish Association of Jewlery manufacturers and the Danish Fashion Organisation WEAR.
He is also a member of the board of WWF World Wide Fund for Nature, Denmark and performs Pro Bono work for the foundation in all of Europe.
Johan is rated as one of the top-6 IP litigators in the acclaimed WTR 1000 2018:
