Elena Stan is a Managing Associate at Stratulat Albulescu Attorneys at Law being specialized in Intellectual Property and Data Protection. She has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2011 and is an industrial property counsellor specialized in Trademarks and Geographical Indications (certified by the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks) and official representative of the European Office for Intellectual Property) with her specialization in Trademarks and Geographical Indications.

Her experience includes assisting clients with copyright related issues, trademark registrations, and management of clients’ trademark portfolios, as well as designs, models and patent registrations at national and international level.

Elena’s experience as a lawyer also includes advising clients on legal issues related to domain names, intellectual property issues related to IT, drafting IT service agreements, assistance on data protection issues, notifications to and relation with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing regarding personal data processing, as well as data transfer, especially in the IT, financial, banking and ecommerce industries. She also advises on and assists with implementation of the full range of legal mechanisms for compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Elena is a member of the Bucharest Bar and the Romanian Bar Association since 2011.
