Minal Sapra is a Corporate Commercial legal consultant based in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in Technology, Media and Entertainment law. She advises individuals, start-ups, SMEs and multinational companies on a wide range of commercial, regulatory and contractual matters in the entertainment and digital sectors across the ME region.
Minal’s recent work includes advising artists, music festival organisers and cultural institutions on sponsorship agreements, venue contracts, content licensing and compliance with live event regulations; supporting advertisers in the banking sector and other regulated industries on marketing practices, consumer protection laws and data privacy requirements; and counselling digital platforms and e-commerce businesses on website terms and conditions, electronic communications, and user engagement strategies. Earlier in her career, she gained experience assisting film and television producers, record labels, gaming companies, lotteries and sweepstakes operators with distribution agreements, content localization and censorship clearance, co-production frameworks, copyright and talent agreements, and regulatory compliance for interactive entertainment services.
In addition to her client work, Minal had contributed to publications and legal guides on data protection, technology, and media and entertainment law, and prepared legal updates for clients on regulatory developments in the UAE in the TME space. She combines her legal acumen with practical business strategies to help clients navigate the complex and evolving landscape of media and technology regulation across the Middle East.
